Select Club Teams (Girls)

We strive to deliver the best value program in St. Charles area and develop, skilled and competitive players. Through 3 practices a week and ~44 games per season, you can expect major improvement in player’s performance and growing passion for the sport!

In 2026-2027 we are offering 12U, 13U, 14U, 15U, and 16U teams. In 2027-2028 we plan to expand to 11U and 17U teams.

Season Duration: November through the end of April/early May. Our end-of-the-season Sand Volleyball Tournament is scheduled on May 1st. 2027.

• National Team – Either a travel or a regional team that wins a qualifier bid, or chooses to train at the National level and purchases the participation.
• Travel – 10 tournaments total, 4 travel tournaments: 3 out-of-state tournaments, 1 out-of-town (requires overnight accommodations), 3 qualifiers total, blend of AAU and Gateway tourneys. AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL, are merit-based (winning a qualifier bid) or opt-in
• Regional – 10 tournaments total, 2 qualifiers, 2 travel tournaments: 2 out-of-town or out-of-state tournaments (requiring overnight accommodations), a blend of AAU and Gateway tourneys. AAU Nationals in Orlando, FL, are merit-based (winning a qualifier bid) or opt-in
• Local – 10 tournaments total, no tournaments that require overnight accommodations in a different town, a blend of AAU and Gateway, no qualifiers.

• Flex – Power League Team with an additional 4 select club tournaments – 2 hosted by Thunderbolt, and 2 hosted by other parties. No travel, highly developmental, however, lower cost and much lower time commitment. Flex program begins in the Winter Session of Power League (11/9). Flex commitment is 16 playable weeks. Practices are once a week; Power League games are once a week. 4 additional tournaments are spread out between December and March. Tryouts for the Flex program will be hosted AFTER Club tryouts, on 10/26 and 10/27.

Practices: Two-hour practice is offered 2 times a week. Additionally, 1.5 hour conditioning+Skill Clinic practice once a week. Practices are held at Rec-Plex, St. Peters.

Cost (FINALIZED):

• Travel Team – $3,095 per player to be paid by December 11th
• Regional Team – $2,795 per player to be paid by December 11th
• Local Team – $2,195 per player to be paid by December 11th
• The cost includes: Practice time/gym rental, Coach’s fee, Insurance, AAU, USAV & Gateway memberships, tournament fees, HUDL license, Coach’s travel fees, advertisement, Conditioning sessions, embedded booster/skill clinic sessions.
• Not Included:
  • Jersey cost – approximately $175 per package, purchased separately
  • Optional Ball purchase (about $40)
  • Personal Travel/accommodation fees
• The required Jersey package includes: 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, and 2 practice T-shirts. Everything else is available for purchase as an option
• We are offering a Payment Plan and Scholarship/Financial Assistance options.
• Costs are also offset by profit-sharing fundraisers and sponsorships.
